What do I do if I lost my key?
Should you lose your key and need your lock removed, please print the Authorization to Cut Lock form, complete the required information and fax it to (812) 547-3482 or return it by mail. For further assistance, contact us at 1-844-STORE-00.
Who has access to my storage space?
You are the only one with access to your space. You lock it-you keep the key.
What do I need to do when I move out?
Please notify us 30 days in advance of your planned vacate date. When you’re finished with the space, all we ask is that it’s completely empty, swept clean, and your lock is removed. Then take a photo of the unit with the door open (be sure to capture your unit number) and submit it to www.lighthousestorage.net so you won’t be charged further rent. If we find your space vacant and unlocked, we will assume you have already moved out.
Why am I still being charged for a space that I’ve vacated?
There are two reasons: your space was found locked after your planned vacate date or your space is still occupied with some of your belongings. If you believe there is an error in your billing, please contact us at 1-844-STORE-00.
What is the easiest way to pay my bill?
We offer a number of convenient payments options for you to choose from:

Does Lighthouse Storage insure my belongings?
No, Lighthouse Storage does not carry any insurance for your personal property. We don’t require insurance, but it’s highly recommended. If your belongings are worth storing, they’re worth insuring. Check with your insurance agent or call us for a free quote at (844) 786-7300.
Do you provide locks?
You’ll need to provide your own lock and key so that you are the only one with access to your space. We REQUIRE a disc lock which we have available for purchase at each location.
What is the minimum rental commitment?
Lighthouse Storage has a one month rental commitment. All spaces operate as month-to-month rentals; however, you can “move out” whenever you want, we just request a 30 day notice. Once you’ve rented a storage space with us, you’ve got it for as long as you need it. You can rent for as little as a month. No portion of your first month’s rent will be refunded or prorated.
What are your rates?
Our rates vary depending on size and the type of storage needed (indoor, outdoor, parking, heated & cooled, etc.). Our Self Storage Specialists at 1-844-STORE-00 will help you determine the appropriate sized space, most suitable to fit your needs and budget.
What kind of information is needed to rent a storage space?
To rent with Lighthouse Storage, a Self-Storage Specialist will need the following:
  • To speak with a person who will be responsible for payments on the account (the person whose name is on the account)
  • Mailing address/e-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Driver’s License number (or valid state or government issued I.D. #)
  • Date of birth
  • 1st Month’s rent payment plus a $20 administrative fee (payable by phone with credit/debit card or check)
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
